Judicial Diversion Program

The Judicial Diversion Program (JDP) is a program for those charged with non violent Felony offenses in Suffolk County and also abuse alcohol and / or drugs. Drug and Alcohol treatment programs are offered as an alternative to incarceration or probation. The program facilitates the defendant in finding and entering a drug or alcohol program. The Judicial Diversion Program includes regular court appearances and supervision by the JDP judge.
